SOME of the Midlands’ most inspiring women have have been shortlisted for the inaugural Women On Their Way Awards, scheduled to take place this month. Hailing from both the West and East of the region, the 27-strong group has been broken down into nine categories for the awards, which will take place in Birmingham on Friday, February 27.
The aim is to showcase the very best female leaders of the future from across the Midlands. The awards are the brainchild of Jo Cameron, best known for her appearance on BBC’s The Apprentice, and Lisa Ibbotson. Lisa said: “We had a great response to this year’s awards, proving that there are some fantastic women out there. The judges had a difficult challenge to whittle them down to 27 candidates in nine categories, and an even harder task to pick the eventual winners.
The winners will be chosen at The Women on Their Way Awards’ which will take place at the Botanical Gardens. Tickets are priced £65 +VAT each. With over 300 guests it provides opportunities for networking and to meet the leading and aspiring women of the Midlands.
