There was an air of complete excitement over this annual event, which just gets better and better each year. Birmingham certainly knows how to through a party and 08 was testament to that notion, working together with Birmingham City Council was 96.4FM BRMB at Millennium Point on 8th November, With big names appearing on stage such as John Barrowman a very popular TV star and X Factor winner Leon Jackson, as well as Scouting for Girls, Alesha Dixon, The Saturdays, Alphabeat, Tia Cruz and to switch on the Christmas Lights we saw Lemar.

There was a fun fair for those who wanted a bit more of an adrenalin rush, and the official figure of attendance was a staggering 30.000 who all braved the bitterly cold weather to see their favourite recording artists. Well done to all who attended and to all of those who worked tirelessly to create this spectacular event, we all look forward to next years bash.
