Firm favourite hits the city

FILM Director and writer Nick Love was in Birmingham this week for the city premiere of his new film The Firm. A remake of an 80s classic, Nick has rewritten the entire script in order to make it relevant to a modern day audience. The film focuses on Dom, a young wannabe football casual, who gets drawn into the charismatic but dangerous world of the firm's top boy, Bex. Accepted for his fast mouth and sense of humor, Dom soon becomes one the boys. But as Bex and his ICF gang clash with rival firms across the country and the violence spirals out of control, Dom realises he wants out - until he learns it's not that easy to simply walk away.

This film is not the first of Love's to tackle the subject of football hooliganism after his previous screen hit 'The Football Factory.' We caught up with him ahead of the Birmingham Premiere of his new film to talk about his new title and future plans.
